Anyone who has visited our office knows how much we enjoy working with children. The single most rewarding aspect of practicing dentistry here in Glenelg has been having the opportunity to watch children and families grow. For years, I have tried to determine a way to combine my love of astronomy and interacting with children. In early 1999, I founded the Howard County Celestial Searchers. With the support of the PTA at Bushy Park Elementary, we meet at Bushy Park on the fourth Monday of each month beginning at 7:00PM. The club is open to all Howard County students kindergarten through grade 8. Fun activities include special projects, speakers, and monthly stargazing parties. This page will serve as the internet headquarters for the club. Our mailbox address will be Celestialsearchers@Goodteeth.com.

We welcome new members and encourage parental involvement.

My hope is that this page will evolve over time with the help of the young members of our club. Learning projects and astronomy games would be fun additions.
